The
Maine Black Bear is one of nature's most
beautiful animals, with awesome power
and a keen sense of smell. Maine has open
season on the bear as to keep their numbers
under control.

We
have hunts for Bears Over Bait. We hunt
them from tree stands which are 12 feet
to 15 feet off the ground as well as ground
blinds. We also accommodate Archery hunters,
Hand Guns and Muzzleloaders. Most of our
hunts are in the afternoon, as this is the
most active time of the day for Bears.

The
majority of our Bears are shot in the last
2 hours of the day. We provide all our hunters
with 2 bait sites per week.
While
the average bear runs between 150-200 lbs.,
400-500 lb. bear have been taken.

When
hunting, you will find that most bait sites
have more the one bear hitting it regularly
and a large number of bears have been taken
from our camps. This is a 6 day hunt.
